About Gerardo Manrique

Gerardo Manrique is a producer, writer, arranger, and guitarist who began his career performing with Grammy-winning Latin artist Gianmarco. In 1997, he produced Gianmarco's fifth album "Al Quinto Dia" which reached Platinum status. He has recorded guitars for top Latin artists including John Secada, Miami Sound Machine, Christian Castro, Jaci Velasquez, and Jimena. His solo career started in January 2011 with "Relax Journey," performing at Downtown Disney, Orlando, Florida. He currently operates Ombu Studios Inc. where he writes, produces, records, and engineers for many artists. His musical philosophy: "Music for me is the most honest expression of my soul."
