About Don Black
Don Black is an exciting and emotional saxophonist who attended Berklee College of Music and received his degree in Music from Stillman College. His approach to music — whether blues, jazz, or pop — is poetic, rhythmic, and soulful. His extensive experience and versatility have taken him from blues clubs in Mississippi to Carnegie Hall to the exciting stages of Central and South Florida. With over 25 years of musical experience, Don has played with the Blues Brothers show at Universal Studios in Orlando for more than 25 years. His style is influenced by Earth, Wind and Fire's sound, and he is a versatile performer able to play all kinds of melodies.
