Viva Mexico Folklore is an Orlando-based ensemble offering an authentic experience of traditional Mexican folklore and culture in song and dance. The group invites audiences on a musical journey from the coastal Veracruz region of Mexico to the northern border states of Monterrey and Tamaulipas. The 5-piece, all-acoustic ensemble features the marimba, the Veracruzian harp, and multiple guitars including the "guitaron" and the "vihuela." Performers wear traditional male and female folk costumes that add to the spectacle. Their festive dance performances encourage audience interaction and include beloved songs like La Bamba, Cielito Lindo, and La Cucaracha.
